Lena Stevens - Pat Liles - Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse Update 9-16-16 - September 14, 2016

Dear Friends,

The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse is Friday, September 16 at 1:05 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

This is the bookend of the eclipse time and serves as a platform for anchoring a new truth that may have come out of taking care of certain business, handling certain procrastinations, eliminating energy leaks, and getting a new sense of what you true self worth is. What is your new truth? How can you support it? What allies and help can you call upon? This is a powerful day and a powerful time to acknowledge your personal power and to tap into a new confidence that you can have the life you want, and that you deserve everything you dream.

If you still feel like you have a load of business to take care of, this full moon is a good time to look ahead by getting help and making a good practical plan.

Blessings,

Lena

Pisces Lunar Eclipse

Sun in Virgo ~ Moon in Pisces 24º
Friday, September 16 1:05 PM Mountain Time
(September 16, ‘16 7:05 PM Greenwich Mean Time)

Eclipses on the Virgo-Pisces axis are a precious event full of imagination, intuition and participation in the unified field of the ONE. Our creativity is at full blush. Pisces with its Neptune ruler asks us to dissolve polarity and delve into the watery, feminine world of the emotional, the intangible, the spiritual realms that are unmeasurable. Virgo, on the other hand, draws down our discriminating, organizing, analytical mind with help from Mercury our ruler of mental workings and communication – an earthy, mental energy. Virgo bestows a strong left brain function of linear clarity, while Pisces grants us access to right brain gifts of knowingness, empathy, and sensitivity to the invisible realms. And let’s not forget Virgo’s role as Virgin, connecting us to the harvest, the cycles of fertility and the Earth, and the rituals that honor the sacred in our lives at this Harvest Moon.

We are completing the period of eclipses this week that began with the New Moon on September 1. A lunar eclipse, not visible in North America, but visible in Africa, Asia, Australia, activates our lunar, emotional bodies. What lies in the shadow or beneath the surface can be set free. Chiron travels closely (22º) with the Full Moon in Pisces drawing out wounds from the past to reveal the treasure and the wisdom they hold. Chiron seeks to make us whole healing us at any level that is held separate. Chiron is the bridge from our life of ordinary, daily responsibilities to the world where we create our reality. Where are you feeling vulnerable, shut down and wearing strong protection? Out of the wound emerges the teacher, your wisdom, your wholeness. This Pisces Full Moon eclipse is here to dissolve what holds you apart from Spirit and your true Self.

Mars is squaring the Sun-Moon eclipse axis. Mars represents the masculine pole and our courage, will, passion and desire; it represents our ability to take decisive executive action as well as our rash, impulsive, aggressive nature when not in good balance. Mars is in Sagittarius, and Sagittarius rules our beliefs, our search for meaning and understanding of our world and how our beliefs form our cultural institutions such as laws, philosophy, and religions. A square from Mars to the Sun and Moon, especially in eclipse and aligned with the Nodes, our point of growth and experiences in the past, calls up fanatical beliefs that create great polarity and great resistance to understanding of a differing point of view. What can you contribute to moving the juggernaut of resistance that we are faced with in these times of rapid transition? Pisces, Neptune, Chiron, the south Node, and the Full Moon all conspire to point to forgiveness of the wounds the Feminine has endured. Use this opportunity to empty that vessel. Let go, forgive, surrender.

Mars’ support is pivotal in this chart helping us to use our courage and will to break free of separation from the Feminine. Open your root chakra at the base of your spine and send down thick roots to the core of Mother Earth to remember who you are. Draw up her power and nourishment to live your visions and shake off the dogma that holds you small, fearful and believing in scarcity.

Just days after eclipse/Full Moon, Venus, now in Libra, opposes Uranus in Aries. We can expect some lightning strikes going off here especially in our relationships, but likely for the good – meaning we may be disclosing what has been holding us back or out of alignment with our heart. The good news is Mars is working WITH the Feminine. We can cut some new ground here. Focus on what is working in your life and especially in your relationships and enhance it.

The week following the eclipse/Full Moon has its own power. Two planets go direct, Mercury and Pluto ~ Mercury (what a coyote!) on Sept 21 at 15º Virgo and Pluto on Sept 26 at 15º Capricorn. We benefit from their on-going positive relationship and support for the last two weeks of September. Both planets being in earth signs help with support on the physical plane to trust that what we need will be provided. It’s a good time to tell the truth, clarify and get to core issues now before these two meet in conjunction at the end of the year. Pluto has been retrograde for 5 months. As it appears at a standstill and turns direct now, you may be asked to let go at a very deep level and allow transformation to have its way with you.

On September 22, we celebrate the Equinox, a powerful time of solar balance and a time to honor with ceremony and gratitude the rich harvest of your life, a time to begin turning toward the darkening of days and sorting for what we will draw down to nourish our roots so we pass with strength through winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. Connect with the trees, the wind, the Earth, the stars, and honor the Sun for its gifts of life.

The day before Equinox, Mercury comes to an apparent stop and begins to move forward in the sky. Yay! By October 6, Mercury will be fully out of its retrograde path and really carry us forward. On September 27, Mars will finally move into Capricorn after a 5-month stay in Sagittarius instead of his usual 5 weeks. This past season has been a pressure laded one and we look forward to a big exhale as we leave September behind.
