Jennifer Hoffman - Justice, Revenge, and the End of Karma - May 11, 2020

Since 2004, with my first article and Archangel Uriel channeled message, I have said that this is the lifetime that we will be able to end karma. Everyone was very excited because they thought that would happen right away. But like all things that involve the Universe, the wheels of progress turn very slowly and the process takes time. But karma is ending, justice is coming and it won’t be a process of revenge, which would create more karma. The ending may not be as clean and vindicating as we like because we won’t be avenged either. The question for us is, are we ready to let divine justice gives us the endings and completion that will release us for our karma or do we want Universe-style revenge?

While we don’t want to engage in revenge, which is what got us into many of our karmic cycles in the first place, we want to be avenged. We want to be vindicated, to be shown that we were right, that even if we don’t get an apology we deserve one, that we have the deserve our justice and we get to see it play out in front of us. We want to stand behind the Universe as it delivers the karmic results to our karmic partner, like the big brother or sister who protected us from bullies on the playground.

What we will get is some degree of that, or none at all. Divine justice is part of the contract between that person and Source and while we are ending our karmic cycle with them, they have to answer to a higher power for their own actions and energy. We aren’t part of that process. That’s why our willingness to give ourselves completion and closure – which is the healing cycle – cannot depend on being avenged.

The question for us is do we want to end the karma or do we want to use the Universe to get revenge on our behalf? We cannot do both. We may not feel that justice has been done unless that person suffers and we get to see it but that’s because we want to be avenged – and the karma cycle continues.

There is an old saying, ‘Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?’ In the case of justice, revenge, and karma closure, I’d change it to ‘Do you want to be free or do you want to be avenged?’ This doesn’t mean that you cannot feel like you have been avenged with it is all over, just that you cannot make that a condition of the end of your karmic cycles.

It’s only when we are ready to let it all go so we can walk away and move on that we get the karma freedom card and can rise to a new level of ascension.

Divine justice, which is not the same thing as paybacks or retribution, aligns with our level of completion and closure. If we are ready to let go but we want to be avenged, then we really are not ready to let go. I know it is hard to feel that someone gets away with the pain and suffering they have caused us (which is what it looks like to us).

But did they really get away with anything? How would we know?

They get divine justice according to their level of energy alignment, frequency, and vibration just like we do. When we get out of the way they get to deal directly with Source with their karma. And what seems like nothing to us may be a terrible punishment from their perspective. As I have said many times, we have no way of knowing the full details and scope of someone’s soul mission and life purpose so we should be very careful about judging them and what we think is going on in their life.

Being able to end karma, to stop the endless cycles of lifetimes of pain and suffering, is a great gift. But it is not always going to be accompanied by the knowing that we have been avenged and that all of our years and lifetimes of suffering have a payoff that we can see and feel. We do not get to use the Universe to beat up the playground bully.

But we do have another alternative. We can let divine justice go to work and get out of the way so that our karmic partners deal directly with their own karma and we let go of our end. This way they deal with the Universe, and not with us. The Universe will give us justice, not revenge, it will help us end our karma when we’re ready, and it will show us what a karma free life looks like if we’re ready to move in that direction. But it won’t cause suffering on our behalf, it won’t give us revenge, and it won’t let us hide behind it and divine justice while it beats up the bullies in our life.

Do you want freedom or do you want to be avenged? Think long term vs short term. Being avenged and proven right is a very short term solution but it just puts the karma on pause for a few moments. Freedom, healing, release, completion, and closure, is a long term proposition that ends lifetimes of karmic cycles for us. Choose freedom for the long term over a momentary feeling of vindication and being ‘right’.
