During the course of the past several weeks I have helped some clients learn to align with new relationships and others make their final disconnections from the relationships they are in. While one person is celebrating new love, another is glad that they have finally found the courage to divorce. While they appear to be different situations, they are the same thing, a choice about love and what someone wants and needs to feel loved, fulfilled, and not alone. The truth is that on spiritual and energetic levels, we are never alone but that doesn’t translate well on an emotional level. We can feel just as alone and lonely in a relationship as we do when we’re by ourselves, sometimes more. The answer lies in our dreams of and visions for love.

This is an account of my experience on when I first “met” Young Joseph, known also as Chief Joseph in the annals of the American West, as a chief of the Wallowa Band of the Nez Perce. I first wrote these words almost a year ago, towards the last week of August.
I recently experienced an interesting encounter the other day with the spirits or souls of departed Wallowa Band Nez Perce or Niimupu (The People) as expressed in their own language. As I had been camping several days in the beloved land of Wallowa, it wasn’t entirely unexpected, but not consciously looked for. When I got out of my car, after being tickled by a sudden inward nudge, I climbed up the side of the humped grassy moraine, thinking that I would take some photos of the mountains.

My night wasn’t so good as I was again doubting yesterday that I go home, that I am in my transition process. It came out of a conversation I had with my twin Silverstar. I told him that it would be really difficult for me if they again would fool me in telling me I would leave now and I would have to stay longer and that it would be very hard to trust them again then. And out of this doubts were rising.

I noticed this and I decided to trust and believe that they had told me the truth after I pushed that button and worked on my doubts, the whole evening and night.
