Jennifer Hoffman - Time for an Energy Cleanup - May 29, 2024

I was thinking was thinking about what is going on in the world today and we can call it Crazyville but that is a symptom of ascension. As I have said, dis-integration is part of the descension process and the last phase is chaos before we step onto the 4D bridge.

When we have had so much going on it can be easy to lose track of ourselves and our journey, what we are supposed to be focusing on to get ourselves to that next step and what is on our path.

There are way too many distractions today, things that seem to need our time and attention, things that we feel are important parts of our ascension journey and that pose a risk to the overall ascension path of the collective. We are very sensitive to what is happening at the earth grid level now and that means we tend to get sidetracked by what we see as an interference in the flow and congruence of that energy and the path we want our ascension journey to take.

And since we have been through this before we are also afraid that we will see a repeat of previous ascension cycle disasters so we are extra careful and give our attention to many of these distractions, which allows us to get sidetracked by what we think are emergencies and they are really only small blips on the radar. They could be emergencies but we have come too far for things to get that much out of control. What we are seeing now in the world is all of the activity that has been going on for decades, under cover of darkness, which is now being revealed by the vast amount, frequency, and intensity of the light.

But there is another issue at work here and that is what is going on in our own energy field. Many years ago, at least in around 2008, I gave the example of us standing in front of a tiny door that was the portal to ascension and the 5D energy space. We were trying to get through the door but we had this massive backpack on our back. We had a choice – to either get rid of the backpack completely, and then we could go through the door, or we could stay on the other side of that door because the backpack simply was not going to fit and we were not ready to take it off yet.

Now that backpack represents our energy baggage and that includes our emotional energy baggage which is part of our 3D heritage. It also includes the baggage of all of our energy bodies, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

It also includes everything from past lifetimes and from the past lifetimes that we have accumulated along the way, and our current lifetime, including our Maternal Emotional Energetic Template.

I was thinking about that today and thinking about the energy baggage and how we’re getting rid of things as we feel compelled to, or we consider getting rid of them, or we must get rid of them because they are blowing up all around us. Maybe they are leaving us and we need to acknowledge their departure and stop pretending like everything is OK.

As I was getting ready this morning, I decided to go through my eye shadows and makeup and do my once every three months clean-up of my mascara and things like that now. Just as a side note, you should change your mascara every three months, especially if you use it every day or almost every day. Bacteria and mold can grow in the tube and cause a lot of eye problems. So that said, I was going through my makeup and I realized I had things in my makeup tray that I’ve had for years. I don’t even want to tell you how long I’ve had some of them.

I do not buy the single color eye shadows, I like the collections. But sometimes they include colors that I don’t use, like neon green or red or odd shades of yellow. I buy them for the colors I do like and then when those are gone the eye shadow compact gets moved to the back of the makeup tray where it sits, unused, taking up space. Do you see where I am going here?

I am not the kind of person who throws things away because I come from a very frugal family background. Both of my parents were in World War 2. My paternal grandparents struggled through the Great Depression of the early 1930s. So I grew up around people who knew what it was to experience lack and limitation, to have to save everything, and to not have access to things. My mother managed a very thrifty home environment where you did not throw things away that were still useful and we never threw food away. And if something’s still good or could be used at some point in the future, you just don’t throw it away.

Well, I decided that I was going to do a good culling of my makeup because my tray was getting full and I knew there were things in there that I was never going to use again.

So I threw a lot of things away, things that I had looked at before and thought, yeah, I should probably get rid of that. But this time I actually really got rid of it.

And it was a very freeing thing as I was thinking about releasing the energy baggage and how difficult that is for us sometimes. Because usually when we’re doing this kind of release work, we’re not talking about a little case of eye shadow, we’re talking about a long standing relationship.

We’re talking about a lot of work towards helping someone heal.

We’re talking about lifelong commitments, we’re talking about our core karma, our core karma energies, the commitments, the obligations, the responsibilities, and the expectations that keep us on the karma path and in karma cycles.

So we have a lot at stake here. And it is not easy to let go of these relationships and admit defeat and failure. Which is not really true but that is how we tend to look at it.

As I was preparing to write this article I was thinking about that and how I felt really good about finally getting rid of this old makeup. I thought about my energy field and how looking at those old makeup cases every day had an impact on it. And I can now look at my cleaned up makeup tray and see the makeup that I do use and will use, without all of the clutter.

As we consider what release work does, we also have to consider what is involved. The real objective of any release work is to clear our energy field of debris and old energies that we do not use and that just take up space. You know, I’ve told you many times, there’s no karma in 5D. We have to clear out the karmic fields before we step onto the 4D bridge and get access into the 5th dimension. We cannot bring all of our karma and emotional and energetic baggage with us.

So that can be a problem and it is a concern because karmic resolution is not that easy, although we would like it to be. It is messy and involved and complicated, instead of being neat and tidy with full completion and closure.

It got me thinking about what our energy field actually looks like which I wanted to share with you because getting a visual of this may help you with your clearing work. It will also help you understand why energy work can be so difficult and have so many unintended consequences.

Remember my reference to the backpack earlier, which prevents us from going through the portal into 5D. Well our energy field is not quite like that. It is more like a house that started out small and that had rooms added to it over years and lifetimes.

There is a house like that, called Winchester House. It has 160 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. It is huge. But the house was built in a very haphazard way, with no real design or plan. Rooms were added here and there with no thought to purpose or placement. So there are stairs that go nowhere, doors that open into walls, doors that don’t open, rooms that are very tiny, lopsided, uneven, and too large or much too small.

This is how our energy field can look. Every experience adds another room, another stairway, and another door or window. But they are not all useful. The room that we use to close off our emotions becomes an energy prison. The experiences that create lifetimes of regret and sorrow are the stairs that go nowhere. The walls that we put up to protect ourselves from pain are uneven and lopsided.

We think we have a simple energy field to clear, but what we have instead is a collection of energies from a lot of different places, a lot of different times, a lot of different situations, and they’re all linked together, like the randomly built and connected rooms of Winchester House.

So when we begin our energy clearing work we interrupt the energy flow, disrupt our process, and we take out rooms, walls, doors, and windows in our energy house that have to be replaced. If we don’t think about that then we miss an important part of energy work. We must be ready for transformation for any healing work to be effective and to work. If not, we take energy out just to put it back into place because we now have a huge gap in our energy field and nature abhors a vacuum. That is why we go back to our old ways, as we have nothing to put in the place this energy formerly occupied.

If you have ever remodeled a home, and I have done several, what starts out as a small weekend project can quickly turn into a 6 month effort that disrupts every aspect of your life. Living with dust, holes in walls and ceilings, no walls, no electricity or running water, quickly turns a promising project into a wish that we had never started.

Energy work is like that. It sounds like a good idea at first and then we realize how disruptive it’s going to be so we just close something off or add another room to our energy field and pretend it isn’t there. We learn to live with temporary fixes and put addressing them on our ‘to do later’ list. After a while we are faced with a lot of energetic clutter and baggage, like my eye makeup cases. We have used all of the useful energy in a situation but we do not know what to do with the rest. Will it be useful one day? Will we eventually get our desired payoff from our efforts? Will the situation just fix itself?

And now our energy field looks like it is flowing and congruent but if we look closely we see a lot of haphazard rooms that are connected by our experience but don’t really align with anything. And they all occupy space in our energy field, and they are using our energy bandwidth but not contributing to anything that we want in our life.

We have no idea where they came from. We have no idea what they do. All we know is that we look at them, we touch that energy and it makes us feel bad, it reminds us of the past in ways that are not useful.

We have an opportunity to stop that now, but it comes with consequence, as all energy work does. And we don’t know where to start.

Here’s the solution. Our energy field is managed by our energy boundaries – the intentions and priorities that we set for ourselves. We can hold those up as our energetic standards and use them as a baseline for our energy clearing. The truth is we have to start from somewhere and trying to clear lifetimes of energy without a plan is really a waste of time. Instead we have to begin the process by establishing energy boundaries, and everything that does not align with our energy boundaries has to go.

This makes the energy clearing process more purposeful and organized but it doesn’t mean there will be no consequences – there are always consequences and sometimes they are painful and tough to negotiate. We have to release goals and expectations that we have held onto for a long time and realize they will never materialize.

We have to let go of actions and energies that we had hoped would one day become something without the satisfaction of fulfillment.

And we have to prioritize our own needs and wants, to put ourselves first, and learn how to accept fulfillment from that.

This is where we get rid of the crooked house with the disconnected rooms, stairs, windows, walls, and doors. We take out the stairs that do not go anywhere, the doors that open onto walls, and ruthlessly trim away everything, but what is the most essential to us and start over again and this time asking different questions.

What do we want?

What works for us?

What is the right thing for us to do?

What’s aligned with our intention?

Where do we put our energy?

And most importantly, who is the primary beneficiary of our energy?

And when you start asking those kinds of questions, you look at your relationships and situations in your life much more critically because you start to realize that at some point you stopped receiving and you kept on giving and you gave and gave until there was nothing left to give. And your energy field is filled with unmet expectations, hoped for endings, incomplete relationships, and unbalanced energy.

It is not a time to be angry with anyone, especially yourself. But it is time to clean it up because the moment you start looking at your life in a more discerning way is the moment you are ready to start making changes. What happens next is interesting because what may seem like a difficult and challenging task that you approach with a lot of fear and anxiety can quickly turn into a rewarding and fulfilling cleanout of energies you realize that you no longer need, are limiting your growth and expansion, are hijacking your potential, and taking up space in your life. Then the cleanup because a more natural and enjoyable process that you are happy to do because it is time and you are ready.

Just like my makeup cases, I had already used the colors I was going to use in them and keeping the cases ‘just in case’ was not serving any purpose. Plus I am sure that they eventually go bad and I did not need that. Getting them out of my makeup tray happened when I was ready. And your cleanup of your energy field will happen when you are ready too. One day you will know that it is time to clear out all of that energy that is used up, hanging out, and taking up space in your energy field.
