The Pope Establishes The Financial Security Committee – 9 August 2013

2013-08-09 L’Osservatore Romano
Pope Francis has issued, on Thursday, 8 August, a Motu Proprio for the prevention and countering of  money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Pursuant to the steps already taken by Benedict XVI in this area with the Motu Proprio of 30 December 2010 for preventing and countering illegal activities in the areas of finance and currency, today’s Motu Proprio reaffirms the Holy See’s commitment to the goal of preventing and countering money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

Pope Francis: Who Am I to Judge Gays? July 29, 2013

Stephen Cook: OK, he’s really pushing the boundaries now. Even if today’s ‘gay acceptance’ comes with some conditions, it’s a big step forward by a previously stoically anti-gay church. Could it be the carefree, carnival atmosphere of Brazil… or simply the new energies and his divine purpose?

Pope Francis: Brazen Brazil Speech Speaks Volumes - July 28, 2013

Stephen Cook: Pope Francis delivered the longest and possibly most important speech of his Papacy so far last night in front of a huge crowd who gathered on Rio de Janiero’s famed Copacababa Beach.
It’s already causing controversy. In it, he implicitly criticised his predecessor and also called on the world to show ‘”love, forgiveness and mercy” and to reach out to the poor. Yet much of what he says will make deeper sense to us lightworkers around the world, especially if we look at the bigger picture based on our understanding of him as what Archangel Michael described as an overlighted soul and read between the lines. He even referred to St Francis in his first few words…
What also struck me was the final section of the speech (which included the Vigil, which I’ve run in full below) where he spoke to of the many major protests currently sweeping the world:
In your young hearts, you have a desire to build a better world. I have been closely following the news reports of the many young people who throughout the world have taken to the streets in order to express their desire for a more just and fraternal society – (and here in Brazil), they have gone out into the streets to express a desire for a more just and fraternal civilization. These are young people who want to be agents of change.

Investigators are systematically combing through the 19,000 accounts held by the Vatican’s bank in search of money laundering and other crimes, in a long-delayed attempt to clean up the reputation of the tarnished institution.
The campaign to bring more transparency and accountability to the bank started under Benedict XVI, but has dramatically picked up momentum under Pope Francis since his election in March.

A United Nations panel is demanding that the Vatican hand over detailed information on child sex abuse cases involving Catholic clergy.
In a document published online, the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child has asked the Vatican to come clean with how it addresses children's rights around the world, including what measures it takes when dealing with sexual violence.
The panel, which polices the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child, wants the Catholic Church to reveal confidential records on investigations and legal proceedings against clergy members accused of sexual crimes on children.
The Geneva-based committee also wants to know what measures are being taken to ensure that clergy members accused of sexual abuses are not in contact with children and how members are told to report allegations of sexual violence.
The document mentions specific cases of abuse, including the Magdalene Laundries, which were Catholic-run workhouses in Ireland where thousands of women and girls were forced to work unpaid and under harsh conditions. The committee wants any records looking into complaints of torture and inhumane treatment as well as information on the number of babies taken away from their mothers at the laundries.
It also wants records on investigations into the Legion of Christ in Mexico, where young boys have accused the congregation of separating them from their families.
The list of demands comes ahead of a planned meeting between the UN and Holy See officials in January.
Clergy abuse victims had been calling for swift and bold action from Pope Francis as soon as he was elected in March. Weeks after his election, Francis directed the Vatican to act decisively on clergy sex abuse cases and to take measures against pedophile priests, but the directive was dismissed by some advocates as just talk.
Francis’ predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI, had been accused by sex abuse victims and activists of trying to cover up cases of pedophilia within the church.

Vatican bank director and deputy resign amid scandal

The director and deputy director of the Vatican bank have resigned following the arrest of a senior Italian cleric over corruption and fraud allegations.
Paolo Cipriani and Massimo Tulli offered to step down on Monday "in the best interest of the institute and the Holy See'', the Vatican says.
It comes three days after the arrest of Monsignor Nunzio Scarano.
The 61-year-old and two others are suspected of trying to move 20m euros ($26m; £17m) illegally.
Monsignor Scarano, a priest from southern Italy, worked for years as a senior accountant for a Vatican department known as Apsa (the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See).
He has been under investigation by Italian police for a series of suspicious transactions involving the recycling through the Vatican bank of a series of cheques described as church donations.
The two other men arrested on 28 July have been named as Giovanni Maria Zito, who is described as an Italian secret service agent, and Giovanni Carenzio, a financial broker.
Secretive Ernst von Freyberg, the current president of the bank, would serve as its interim director, taking over from Mr Cipriani, a Vatican statement said.
A new position of chief risk officer would also be created to improve compliance with financial regulations.
Last week, Pope Francis set up a commission of inquiry to look into the bank, which has been beset by allegations of money laundering for decades. He had already named a trusted cleric to oversee the way the institution had been managed.
Officially known as the Institute for the Works of Religion (IOR), the bank is one of the world's most secretive. It has 114 employees and 5.4bn euros of assets.
The scandal is an embarrassment to the Vatican with Pope Francis campaigning for the Catholic Church to be closer to the people of the developing world.
Some churchmen are even questioning whether the Vatican needs its own bank, BBC Rome correspondent David Willey reports.

VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis took a key step Wednesday toward reforming the troubled Vatican Bank, naming a commission of inquiry to look into its activities amid a new money-laundering probe and continued questions about the very nature of the secretive financial institution.
It was the second time in as many weeks that Francis has intervened to get information out of the Institute for Religious Works, or IOR. On June 15, he filled a key vacancy in the bank’s governing structure, tapping a trusted prelate to be his eyes inside the bank.

10 Facts You Must Know About The Jesuits

THE JESUITS - 10 FACTS

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you insheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenouswolves.” – Yahushua in Matthew 7:15 (NKJV)
“We came in like lambs and will rule like wolves.” -Francesco Borgia, Third Jesuit Superior General.
superior-general
(The Superior General of the Society of Jesus is the official title of the leader of the Roman Catholic religious order, the Jesuits. He is generally addressed as Father General. The position sometimes carries the derogatory nickname of the Black Pope. The current Superior General is the Reverend Father Adolfo Nicolás.)

The Society of Jesus, more commonly referred to as the Jesuits, are the armed militia of the Roman Catholic Church.  They were sanctioned in 1540 by Pope Paul III with one mandate: to defeat Protestantism and regain global Papal rule.  To achieve this monumental task, they employ ever-adapting methods of pseudo-education, social programs, infiltration, and all wickedness that could possibly be conceived.  Needless to say, they are achieving great success in their mission, which is climaxing with the present pope, Pope Francis, i.e.  the Eighth and last Pope of Revelation 17, who held some of the highest positions in Argentina, including Provincial Superior in the Society of Jesus and Archbishop of Buenos Aires.   He was made a cardinal by Pope John Paul II.
Today most of the world is oblivious as to how Jesuits operate, from their inception to this very day.  Now more than ever, World’s Last Chance believes it is exceedingly important to bring up the following historical facts about this evil society, to expose the wicked nature of this truly malevolent order.

The Vaticans New World Order - The Knights of Malta

the vaticans new world order       The Knights of Malta

The Roman Catholic Church uses military-like orders or societies to carry out their aims and protect the Church. Using these societies as a secret army to do the Church's bidding protects it from scrutiny and bad press. For example, in the Middle Ages, the Knights Templar was an order that fought in the crusades on behalf of the Papacy. Templar Knights were given the ability to ignore many laws, taxes, and authorities, but had to obey the Pope.i
The regalia of the Knights Templars. Note the Maltese crosses.

Although we don't see the Knights Templar in their original form, there are many new versions of the Order, such as the Knights of Malta, Freemasons, and the various Orders of knights in Britain. European and North American political leaders are often members of these Orders.
If the Order is subservient to the Pope alone, and the British Queen and American President are members of the Order, who really rules the Western world?

Pope Francis Continues to Denounce Culture of Greed and Waste - June 6, 2013

Pope Francis: 'Throwing away food is like stealing from the table of those who are poor and hungry.' Photograph: APPope Francis: ‘Throwing away food is like stealing from the table of those who are poor and hungry.’ Photograph: AP
Stephen Cook: Pope Francis gently persists with his attacks on the culture of greed in our consumerist world. These messages, while they may seem repetitive, slowly start to chip away at the underlying psyche of the members of the wider world; which, as the new energies continue to rise, begin to see how they themselves have been participating in a society that has allowed such greed – and soon realise that this is not the way things should be.
Remember the old adage: if we’re told something long enough and more than enough, we begin to either believe it, or at least question it. This is what the Pope is currently ensuring among his flock – and  elsewhere, via the media.

Pope Francis elected after supernatural 'signs' in the Conclave, says Cardinal - May 14, 2013

The surprise election of Pope Francis came about because of a series of supernatural “signs”, one of the leading Cardinals in the Roman Catholic Church has claimed.

Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, the Archbishop of Vienna, who was himself widely tipped as a possible successor to Pope Benedict, said he had personally had two “strong signs” that Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio was “the chosen one” in the run up to vote.

He said only divine intervention could explain the speed with which the Argentine Cardinal - who did not feature on any of the main lists of likely candidates compiled by Vatican experts - was elected.
