Be awake to the opportunities and you will have potent fuel for your enlightenment. You can shed significant amounts of old dysfunctional patterns and step into your higher purpose – much easier than ever before.
Why is this Wesak different?
First, there has been a significant quickening in humanity’s awakening since last year. Events on a world scale and shifts in consciousness mean dramatic changes in how people view and respond to circumstance. There were high points in the awakening process during 2012 – including the December 21 Solstice – but this Wesak carries even greater potentials.
Second, regardless of how you view your own spiritual progress over the past year, you indeed have grown in awareness and capacity to shine your light brightly in the world. Sometimes you may feel you’re the same as before, or simply frustrated about longtime challenges that persist. It takes great clarity to notice your subtle inner shifts. Appearances can be deceiving. Trust that you aren’t the same being you were a year ago.
Third, there is now more openness to the spiritual energies available each year during Wesak. At this time of year, it’s often easier to access the light and spiritual blessings from enlightened beings like the Buddha. Participating this year, however, you can ignite your spiritual growth by leaps and bounds. An expanded energetic doorway is open to spiritual energies and wisdom emanating from the higher dimensions. You can tap into it now.
Fourth, this year’s unusual planetary cycles create enormous potentials for revolutionary shifts in consciousness. The planetary lineups trigger major transformation-inner and outer-and catalyze a deep questioning and desire for change. You don’t need to understand astrology to be impacted. These things affect everyone. In May alone are two eclipses likely to escalate the roller coaster ride. The May 9 Solar eclipse at the new moon will stimulate outer world events. Two weeks later, the May 24 Lunar eclipse at the full moon will ignite inner world issues. Your ride can go more smoothly when you connect with the Wesak blessings and energetic openings. Huge shifts are possible for you then.
Fifth, your spiritual initiation process can accelerate significantly in this season. Wesak is typically a time of initiation and spiritual growth, but potentials are now quantum. This is because you are increasingly evolving into a multidimensional state that is quantum and vast. This is part of your destiny and even wired into your DNA.
You may have never heard about or attended a Wesak, but your DNA holds a memory of what the ancient enlightened masters taught about the path of enlightenment. That’s because of what your ancestors learned and also because of memories in the mass consciousness of humankind. These things are not forgotten, even in the darkest of times.
Your true nature, after all, is divine. It is encoded within you to remember this and to awaken to your true self. Each person has his or her own timetable for enlightenment. Enlightened beings like the Buddha, the Christ, and Tapihritsa taught these things – in part by how they lived their lives. When you celebrate Wesak, you can connect tangibly with such beings, receiving their help with your own liberation. There are expanded spiritual energies present, and fewer veils between dimensions, helping you to access abundant blessings. You awakening can then move into a new phase.
During Wesak celebration days and the season as a whole, place yourself in situations allowing you to connect with others on the path of conscious awakening. Spend personal time with such people, too. If you can, join group celebrations that help amplify experiences while also uplifting humanity.
The light of the enlightened masters is more accessible than ever now. Open yourself to it. Allow the example of these ancient ones to stir a new dedication within, giving you the spiritual fuel and momentum you need for your own self-realization.
Take actions that allow you to shine your light into the world. Your loved ones, neighbors, and others you don’t even know will benefit greatly as you share your light. Indeed, your light will catalyze the opening process for others. Don’t underestimate your own power to change the world.
Remember your power as a divine changemaker – your ability to receive the goodness from the universe and to create a light-filled world. Tap into these and you can serve your purpose.
