Operating out of kindness to self
is key.
In order to see your new path
you must admit
where you have been.
Not from a place of disadvantage
or punitive responsiveness
but from a placement
of love's assurance.
One must receive oneself
with unconditional love.
The old belief in
"the punishment
fits the crime"
must be extinguished
in order for true passing
to occur.
