Circle the wagons ! The final days of August, is a time to watch your temper, and measure twice before cutting once.
Although the August 11th Eclipse was the finale of the Triad finale, and slowly opens to a better phase leading into the Equinox of September, we are still in an intensity 'maximum' thru the full moon energies on the 26th and 27th. Mars straightens into direct flow the following day on the 27th of
August. A key lessening & release of 'tension' occurs on the New Moon of September 9th, as Saturn moves direct on September 6th. Mercury went forward recently, so there are now 5 planets in retrograde, intense collated backward flow, including Mars. In fact Mars is at its closet point to the Earth now, the closest it will be to Earth for the next 37 years. Its retro impact is thus extraordinarily potent!
So we now have retro Mars in connection with the growing moon, retro Saturn & retro Pluto...when combined with the backward flow of Uranus & Neptune, a powerful amalgam occurs creating a sense of imbalance.

The phase between now and the Full Moon, will continue with the retrogrades of Mars, moving forward on the 27th, the day after the Aug 26th full moon. Saturn, Uranus, Neptune in retro can also seriously mal-effect logical thinking.
These energies, angles and gravities form an unusual emotionally erratic phase for all signs. Water, air and especially fire & earth signs may be 'out of sorts'. This is a time to be wary of coercion, scams and deceit. The dark side, the shadow will be revealed, from unexpected sources. Wolves in sheep's clothing ! . Be cautious, and watch your back!
* In this amalgam of energies, tempers can easily flare up & explode, oft without justification. Little issues, which normally would not really bother you, can seem like major irritants, causing an over-reaction, an uncontrolled, inappropriate temper outburst. And mishandled, this can lead to deep regret, severely damaged relationships, and further disputes. Attempts to negotiate conflicts, arguments or financial disputes now, may actually worsen matters. However, a sincere heartfelt apology, is always appropriate, when conflicts rage, in the red heat of Mars.
* Avoid making mountains out of molehills, especially between now and the solar eclipse of Aug 11th, and in truth, it would be prudent to avoid any confrontations during the next 3 weeks. Miscommunication is quite likely, misunderstanding is common in Mercury retro. When combined (in August) with the Mars retro, this is definitely not the best energy for settling disputes, nor the best time for achieving agreement, or negotiating business or finalizing contracts. The disagreement, skewed logic aspect will continue intensely just past the full moon, thru Aug 27.
* To add fuel to the fire, logic is not as sharp in this phase. Reasoning can be uncharacteristically off-centre, quite off-track & skewed. Think very carefully before acting. One can come to irrational decisions or skewed conclusions in this timing. You may well make decisions in this phase that are, so erroneous, so 'not you', that you may later, in retrospect say, 'What on earth was I thinking!'
This multi-faceted retro-astronomy can also manifest as a time of doubt & lethargic energy.... A sense of anxiety, confusion, laziness, despair & depression. A feeling persists of being out of sorts, imbalanced, lost, as if in a strange unfamiliar daze.
In this phase of extreme backward movement, you may encounter frustratingly slow progress in your projects, activity, & relationships. You may feel like you are hopelessly stuck, trapped in molasses, caught in the immobility doldrums. You must avoid anger, fear, doubt & depression, these negative emotions can easily spiral down into toxic depths, in this erratic and intense phase.
It gets much better after the New Moon on September 9th, at which time only 3 outer planets are in retro. So, hold on to your hats, center the wagons. The Equinox and Crystal Full Moon of September 23-25 is an amazing time for group ceremony and meditation. The veils will be open. This is also a very opportune energy for pilgrimage to sacred sites & powernodes.
