Dear Friends,
Full Moon is Thursday, March 5 at 11:05 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
This full moon is excellent for anchoring a new bid for power and asking spirit for help. It is a good time for allowing yourself to receive the power from the moon and other elements of nature. Think of something you wish to “power up” and spend some time during this full moon in prayer and intention that it will be so. This is a high energy time and best used with direct focus and intention. Know what you want and when you set your intention be ready to receive it!Blessings,
Lena

Sun in Pisces ~ Moon in Virgo 15º
Thursday, March 5, 11:05 AM Mountain Time
(6:05 PM Greenwich Time)
Full Moon is always a high contrast time as we seek to hold the paradox of two polar opposites. At this Full Moon, the Sun in Pisces is the background for a month where the whole is greater than its parts. Virgo Moon is the foreground grounding the fluidity of its water sister, Pisces. The last sign of the zodiac year, Pisces draws us into the realms of the imagination, intuition, and the invisible, spiritual world. Pisces inhabits a place of sensitivity, compassion and mystery not easily quantifiable or measurable and consequently, generally held in little esteem in the masculine halls of science, academia and business. Pisces’ domain is the temple, art studio, healing spaces, poetry night, dance floor, movie theatres. Pisces specializes in the abstract, infinite and ineffable. It’s her ruler Neptune that encourages this dissolving of boundaries. Like the oceans that Neptune rules, the edges of Pisces’ world are shifting and often draped in fog. Pisces is the most fluid of the water signs (along with Cancer and Scorpio) and is comfortable with the idealistic, creative, subtle world she inhabits.
What Virgo brings to the polarity is practical, earth skills, but this is not the security attachment of Venus-ruled, earth sign Taurus or the goal-oriented, Saturn-ruled earth sign of Capricorn, oh no, this is a Mercury-ruled earth sign! And Virgo uses that earthy mentality to analyze the situation, see the glitches, clearly set priorities and GET IT ORGANIZED! Virgo is known for handling the details, communicating clearly, and getting indigestion from worrying too much over the outcome. Luckily, Mercury, Virgo’s ruler, is leaving its shadow period on March 4 (returning to the degree it began its retrograde from) before Full Moon hopefully curtailing those communication and travel snafus still popping up.
Virgo and its relationship to the 6th house of the zodiac rules our health, hygiene and diet (healing/healers), our work environment and co-workers, routines and habits, our love of animals, craftsmanship, gardening and the harvest, writing and accounting, and geographically Los Angeles, Jerusalem, Switzerland, Turkey, Brazil to name a few.
What Virgo and Pisces both bring is a dedication to service and seeing the organization and order before them. Virgo serving the task that needs to be completed in our everyday life and bringing reliability, high standards, perfection and frugality keeping modern life moving forward, while Pisces perceives from a more universal point of view seeing consciousness as the web that permeates and connects all within a higher divine order bringing wisdom, gratitude and responsiveness. This Full Moon brings together the mental-physical with the spiritual-emotional aspects of life. Let it be a call to balance these two polarities of your existence.
Less the Moon distract us, let us focus on what’s happening in the larger picture in the near future. We are entering a period of significant events that hold great power occurring between this Full Moon and the next New Moon on March 20.
This period holds the 7th and final exact square of Uranus and Pluto at 15º Aries/Capricorn on March 16. I, and most astrologers, have been writing about this three-year alignment endlessly because it is so important socially and collectively, and if you have had planets that were touched by this long square then your life became a vehicle for dramatizing this collective event for all. Many of you have filled the pool of consciousness with your courage, adaptability, surrender, and creativity in the face of great pressure, and demonstrated magnificently the ability to transform (Pluto) and evolve (Uranus). This shift period has been the huge transition into the frequency of a whole new ‘Age’, a 2500-2800 year cycle, shifting us from a period ruled by Pisces to one ruled by Aquarius. So around us we see the vestiges of the old energy reluctant to change and needing more time. This Uranus-Pluto square has sprouted the seed set to germination in the mid-60’s. We are well on our way to new value systems, relating abilities, economies, planetary perspectives, you name it! We will be digesting this time period for decades to come.
And that’s the context for the next few weeks. Here’s what you can expect:
March 11
Mars conjuncts Uranus at 15º Aries. Like throwing fuel on a fire! Mars likes action and Uranus is all for sudden and radical change. At the same time Mars/Uranus also exactly squares Pluto (15º Capricorn) triggering what could be deemed the category of “live action drama”. Always better when you have just ignited a powerful rocket in your hand to point it in the direction to which you want to see it blast off, right? Life could get very busy if your rocket happens to be a new business or project. Use this restless energy for making things happen.
(This Uranus/Pluto square at 15º forms an exact Grand Square with the USA chart at its most vulnerable point ~ its natal Saturn square Sun. An extremely challenging time period for the United States.)
March 14
Saturn goes retrograde until August 1. A little retreat and re-assess energy won’t hurt here. Saturn newly in Sagittarius will retrograde back into Scorpio in June for six weeks giving us time to reflect on what more do we need to eliminate from our core programming from another ‘Age’.
March 15
Moon in Capricorn aligns with Pluto again triggering the Uranus/Pluto square mostly in the early morning hours for the USA.
March 16
The seventh and last of seven exact Uranus/Pluto squares at 7:50 PM Mountain Time.
March 20
New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse in last degree of Pisces 29º 27’ at 3:36 AM Mountain Time.
Strong and powerful culmination energy with this very last degree of the zodiac spiraling us back to the beginning of the zodiac wheel at 0º Aries.
Eclipse visible in Europe, Africa and eastern Asia
All letting go preparations will be rewarded.
Remember, eclipses come in pairs expect the lunar eclipse at next Full Moon in Libra.
Vernal Equinox at 4:45 PM Mountain Time/Sun enters 0º Aries. A major alignment of the Sun to the Earth’s equator.
This is a powerful time for ceremony, prayer and aligning your heart with the Sun. Be in nature. Bless the planet. Honor the Masculine and Feminine forces. Gratitude and intentions will work magic here.
March 21
Moon in Aries finishes off the energy squaring Pluto and then aligning with Uranus and finally Mars.
Let’s see how this all plays out…..
03/08 Daylight Savings Time begins (USA)
03/14 Saturn turns retrograde 4º Sagittarius until 8/1
03/16 Uranus square Pluto 15º Aries/Capricorn
03/20 Pisces New Moon/Solar Eclipse/3:37 AM Mountain Time
03/20 Spring Equinox-Sun enters Aries 4:45 PM Mountain Time
04/04 Libra Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse 14º 6:00 AM Mountain Time
