According to the spiritual law of responding to the soul's responsibilities: When souls set out their journey to the planet and other star systems, souls know that they have signed a contract with their higher self and the Divine.
One item in the contract says that it does not matter how far or how long a soul has travelled to the lower density, as long as the clarion call is being sent out, the soul needs to stop right there, make a U turn and head home. From that moment on, "thy will" becomes soul's "my will." The journey to the lower density has come to an end. The call has come which means the soul is being called to return to the heart, which means it is time for the soul to wake up and start the enlightenment process.
There are times, however, when the soul's journey to the 3rd or higher dimensions, When the clarion call comes, souls are still in the deep sleep and miss the call. When that happens, the soul's higher self and the team that is accompanying the soul will start the awakening process regardless, meaning even the soul is not aware of the call or the start of the awakening process. Therefore, there are situations where souls are actually in the process of awakening and enlightenment unconsciously and that is allowed by the spiritual laws. However long it takes, the laws says that eventually, the soul will be conscious and wake up to the soul's spiritual purpose.
The spiritual laws are in place no matter if humanity is aware of it or not. Once souls ascend to the new earth where the spiritual laws are the guiding principles for all souls and sentient beings, they will be required to live according to the spiritual laws and these guiding principles. So it is essential for the souls to know the Divine laws and live according to these laws.
