New Moon at 0-1 Aquarius: Initation and Vision. Dreams and Intentions. The Collective. Preparing for launch.
Hello friends and welcome to the first New Moon of 2015! This new moon in the “1” month of the year always has a certain quality of heightened potential and possibility, this year even more so. This is also the third new moon in a row (since November, 2014) at 0-1 degrees of the sign which gives it a powerful initiatory quality, setting the stage for the next moon cycle ahead and even further out than that.
The Tarot symbol for Zero is “The Fool” which is also a great image for initation, trust and setting out on a new path. The Fool has only a and a dog as a companion as s/he sets out into a new, unexplored world. This “8” Universal Year in the numerology takes us even more deeply into the Aquarian Age so this big of dose of Aquarian energy is certainly significant and has tremendous potential.
One theme I spoke about in the First Quarter Report (see the Cosmic Keys blogs area of my site,) is the issue of breaking out of the “box” of our own limited thinking; both about ourselves and others. In the first three months of this year we will be given a tangible opportunity to look into our own “view,” and areas of limitation and illusion. Aquarius energy allows us to rise higher and see the bigger picture of things which certainly can be helpful.
Positive Application: Healthy detachment. Seeing the bigger picture. Genius. Freedom. Honoring uniqueness. Releasing personal constraints.
Shadow potential: Detachment at a Vulcan-like level. Freedom at the expense of others. Rebellion for its own sake.
Another aspect of this new moon that has been showing itself quite clearly is the aspect of POWER, namely the loss of it on a personal level to people or events of the past. A simple word for that may be a “grudge.” A grudge though it can be buried and not take up much space in our daily consciousness can actually be siphoning off quite a bit of energy which can manifest in a loss of joy and presence.
When you base your own happiness on the workings of your own internal universe, it lets others “off the hook.” This is not to say to condone or ignore the misgivings or unconscious actions of others, but they will not longer disturb your own inner kingdom. What if these very people were here for the purpose of helping you develop the pearl that is your own soul? This is what is meant to be the King or Queen of your own domain. The Sabian Symbol for this new moon is Aquarius 1: An Old Adobe Mission In California. The indications of this being: spiritual retreats in nature, the Brother/Sisterhood and structures that protect and support spiritual growth.
Interestingly our next New Moon will be at 29 degrees of Aquarius which though it is not a classic “Blue Moon” because it falls in a different month, it still has some of that unique magic attributed to it. The Sabian Symbol happens to be one of my favorites: A Butterfly Emerging From A Chrysalis. This taking place right before the entry of Sun in Pisces is significant also. Pisces is often a time of karmic “ripening” and can have its challenges emotionally and spiritually. So we start our current moon cycle with pure potential and by the time we get to our next new moon our current transformation for this particular cycle is complete.
The Cosmic Tune is “Got Nuffin” by Spoon, because we’ve got nothing to lose but shadows, hangups and patterns that are no longer productive.

La Luna Nueva a 0-1 de Acuario: Iniciación y Visión. Sueños e Intenciones. El Colectivo. Preparándose para el lanzamiento.
Hola amigos y bienvenidos a la primera Luna Nueva del 2015. Esta luna nueva en el mes ‘1’ del año siempre tiene una cierta cualidad de potencial y posibilidad incrementados, aun más este año. Esta es también la tercera luna nueva consecutiva (desde noviembre del 2014) a 0-1 grados del signo, lo que le imprime una cualidad iniciadora poderosa, creando el escenario siguiente para el próximo ciclo lunar y aun más allá.
El símbolo del Tarot para el Cero es ‘El Tonto’ que es también una gran imagen para la iniciación, la confianza y la fijación de un nuevo sendero. El Tonto solamente tiene a un perro como compañero al iniciarse en un mundo nuevo, inexplorado. Este Año Universal ‘8’ en numerología nos lleva aun más profundamente a la Era de Acuario, así que esta gran dosis de energía de Acuario es ciertamente significativa y tiene un tremendo potencial.
Un tema del que hablé en el Reporte del Primer Trimestre (ver el área de los blogs de las Claves Cósmicas de mi sitio), es el tema de salirse de la ‘caja’ de nuestro pensamiento limitado, tanto respecto a nosotros como a los otros. En los tres primeros meses de este año se nos dará una oportunidad tangible de observar nuestra propia ‘visión’ y áreas de limitación e ilusión. La energía de Acuario nos permite elevarnos y ver el panorama mayor de las cosas lo cual puede ser útil ciertamente.
Aplicación Positiva: Desapego sano. Ver el panorama mayor. Genio. Libertad. Honrar la singularidad. Liberar las restricciones personales.
Potencial de sombra: Desapego a un nivel similar a Vulcano. Libertad a costa de los demás. Rebelión por su propio bien.
Otro aspecto de esta luna nueva que se ha estado mostrando muy claramente es el aspecto del PODER, principalmente la pérdida de este a nivel personal respecto a las personas o eventos del pasado. Una simple palabra que pueda considerarse una ‘rencilla’. Una rencilla aunque puede ser enterrada sin ocupar mucho espacio en nuestra conciencia cotidiana puede estar realmente extrayendo un poco de energía que se puede manifestar en una pérdida de alegría y presencia.
Cuando ustedes basan su propia felicidad en los eventos de su propio universo interno, esto deja a los demás ‘desconectados’. Esto no quiere decir que se condonen o ignoren las acciones inconscientes o errores de los demás, sino que ya estos no afectarán el propio reino interno de ustedes. ¿Y qué si estas personas estuviesen aquí con el objetivo de ayudarlos a desarrollar la perla que está en el corazón de ustedes? Esto es lo que significa ser el Rey o Reina de su propio dominio. No hay mejor momento para encarnar esta verdad.– Amor Cósmico: Claves para el Sendero de Luz.
El Símbolo Sabeo para esta luna nueva es Acuario 1: Una Vieja Misión de Adobe en California. Las indicaciones de este ser: los retiros espirituales en la naturaleza, la Hermandad y estructuras que apoyan y protegen el crecimiento espiritual.
De manera interesante nuestra próxima Luna Nueva será a 29 grados de Acuario que aunque no es una clásica ‘Luna Azul’ porque cae en un mes diferente, todavía tiene esa magia única. El Símbolo Sabeo es uno de mis favoritos: Una Mariposa que Emerge de una Crisálida. Este hecho que tiene lugar justo antes de la entrada del Sol en Piscis es también significativo. Piscis es a menudo un tiempo de ‘madurez’ kármica y puede tener sus desafíos emocional y espiritualmente. Así que comenzamos nuestro ciclo lunar actual con puro potencial y cuando lleguemos a nuestra próxima luna nueva nuestra transformación actual para este ciclo particular se habrá completado.
La Melodía Cósmica es ‘Got Nuffin’ por Spoon, debido a que no tenemos nada que perder sino la sombras, las desconexiones y los patrones que ya no son productivos.
