We are officially in the second half of 2025 as we enter month 7, July, and another big energy month. July features a Mercury retrograde, Saturn and Neptune retrograde, Uranus entering Gemini, a full moon Capricorn blast, and a Neptune/Pluto alignment all month that provides a solid foundation for our 5D path. Ready for some new portals of potential? They are present in July along with so many opportunities to ditch the past and shine our lights on the future.
We have been on a long transition that has been designed to help us shed the old skins of the past and things that no longer resonate with the 5D path we want to follow. It has not been easy because this represents lifetimes of commitment and obligation, of sacred responsibilities and promises that we have undertaken with the most solemn vows of fulfillment. But we are beginning to realize that we cannot ‘serve two masters,’ our karma and our ascension path. We have to choose one. And we’ll make that choice in July.

Get ready for some good luck in July because it’s the ‘lucky 7’ month and we have two sevens this month. July is the 7th month and July 2025 is a 7 month (2025 = 9 + 7 = 16, 6+1=7). And we have Mercury retrograde in Leo, echoing Mars’ long Leo retro earlier this year and it’s long Pluto opposition. It’s a great month for fun, fireworks, and fear-free transformation. Let’s get to it.
First the numerology because we do have a lucky double 7 configuration so we have twice the luck. Some people will tell you that 7 represents the need to go inward, to hibernate, rest, rejuvenate, and restore your energy. I say we can do more with July’s lucky double 7s. 7 is a universal number that is present in so much of our daily lives. We have 7 days in a week, 7 chakras, 7 visible planets in the sky, there are 7 continents on the earth, and 7 seas. Gamblers refer to ‘lucky 7’.
7 stands between the 6 of descension and the 8 of infinite awareness so it’s another ascension bridge for us in a time when we have so many of these in 2025 and in the month of July. We just may have some accelerated growth happening – stay tuned and be prepared.
So let’s not start this month thinking we have to find some mountaintop to sit on for the next 31 days and contemplate our inner self while ignoring the world around us, trying to get the ‘next move’ right in theory before we put it into practice. We can take aligned action and course correct at any time.
Starting with the 7 numerology, which is the combination of 1 + 6, the 1 of action plus the 6 of descension. We have a universal call to action here with the energy of descension to support it. Now we just have to avoid the ‘hibernate in place’ advice and get ready to expand our energy into new potentials.
We start July with a celebration of freedom, July 4th in the USA. This is a day when we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which took place during the previous Pluto in Capricorn transit. In fact, just two years after that date Pluto was moving into Aquarius and starting the ‘age of enlightenment.’
While only the USA celebrates July 4th, the event it commemorates had global significance. To declare that ‘all men are created equal’ was to deny the elevated sanctity of the monarchy which was considered to be above humanity and in control of humanity. Did you know that since monarchs were believed to be ‘ordained by God’ that they could not be punished by the ‘human’ court system and that is why monarchs, kings, queens, and lesser nobility, were never charged with crimes, no matter what they did, or prosecuted in a court of law?
The Declaration of Independence began the path of self-sovereignty, where every ‘man’ was considered equal and self-governing (well, only men at the time and not women but that’s another story for another time) which was a monumental breakthrough and a shocking paradigm shift.
A similar paradigm shift happened in 1516 when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenburg Cathedral, condemning the catholic church for its corruption and ‘unholy’ behavior. This removed the control the church had on society. Another Pluto in Capricorn transformation. I wrote about this at length in the September 2022 Energy Report, you can read it here.
With the recent Pluto transit in Capricorn we set the foundation for energetic sovereignty, which is why so much time, energy, effort, and expense have gone towards controlling our energy in the past several decades. When we arrived at this point the systems were supposed to be in place to have total control of our energy – think ID2020, the plandemic, digital ID and currency, 5G, the internet of things.
How successful was that? Not very successful at all. In fact, in terms of what was supposed to happen, it was a colossal failure – and that is great news for us. Now we need to continue to expand our energetic sovereignty so we stay energetically sovereign because if not, there are people who have very dastardly plans for our energy and we do not want that to happen.
We are now in the enlightenment phase of our ascension path, with Pluto in Aquarius, where we put our energetic sovereignty into action with alignment, integration, and embodiment. So many people talk about alignment as the only step involved in working with energy but it is merely the first step. The real test happens when we have to integrate that energy and use it in our daily lives. They tend to forget about that part.
The energy theme for July is Threshold, with a twist, it’s Threshold vs Foothold. A threshold is a point of energy or beginning. A foothold is used to describe a situation where a hostile force has gained entry and an advantage, creating a dangerous or threatening situation.
This gives us some guidelines to know both what may be happening and how to proceed because even if you are not initiating anything, other people may be. Remember that it is just as painful and uncomfortable for someone who is not at your energetic frequency to be around you as it is for you to be around them.
Our threshold is an opportunity to take a step forward through our 5d portals into a new paradigm but we have foothold situations to consider. These are the people and situations in your life that are not aligned with your steps forward. These are the people who hold you back, and the people that you allow to hold you back.
The karma in your life that holds the commitments, obligations, responsibilities, and expectations you have for yourself and for others is no longer required, it is now optional. I cannot tell you how many times I talk with clients who are now being forced to choose between providing energetic support for others and walking on their own life path. It is a huge struggle.
The Threshold is an invitation, a shimmering light in the darkness of our fear, pain, and trauma, which beckons us to step forward. Will we do it? It may take a few tries as we move backwards and forwards between obligations and freedom, between commitments and sovereignty, to take that step. Remember, like the 4D bridge, this is a path of no return. Once we cross the Threshold we cannot go back to the life and life path that we used to have.
We have to seek the rewards and not waste our time examining the regrets, to learn to live within the parameters of our highest ascension path, which is not the path that is mired in karma, drama, trauma, fear, and giving our power away to others. It’s showtime for us and this is our showdown. We are at the threshold and the crossroads and we have to choose what is best for us to live fully, deeply, and expansively.
What does that look like for you? We’re at the starting gate and all you have to do is take that first step. We get confused and distracted when we think that the first step is forever. As I always say, ‘it’s for now, not forever.’ Step 1 is your focus for right now. One step forward – what does that look like for you?
On July 10 we have a full moon with a Capricorn moon. There’s that Capricorn energy popping up again but for a brief moment, and of course the two week action period for full moons. We had a full moon with the Capricorn sun on January 13 of this year. We are finished with the Capricorn lunations for the year. And that is a good thing because after the past 16 years of Pluto in Capricorn, I think we have all had enough of that sign for quite a while.
Then on July 24 we have a new moon in Leo that is exactly conjunct Pluto. That should be interesting. Pluto in Aquarius is highlighted this month, especially with this new moon. Watch for fresh starts from the work you have done at the beginning of the month.
If you listened to my Enlightening Life LIVE on July 2, I talked about the morphogenic field. This is the vast sea of energy that we are surrounded by. This is where we get our energy to manifest, create, fulfill intention, create miracles, and live our lives/ It is the energy we used to manifest our past, our present and from which we will manifest our future.
The differentiated morphogenic field is what we live in. It is the energy that we have claimed, named, and live with. We do that unconsciously, not realizing that with every word, thought, belief, and action, we are harvesting energy from the morphogenic field to manifest every moment of our life. That’s why I created programs like the High Vibes Week, to help you use positive, empowering words to manifest your life so you avoid ‘accidentally’ manifesting what you do not want.
The undifferentiated morphogenic field is the energy that is waiting to be claimed. It has no form and exists at every level of frequency, just waiting for someone (including you) to set an intention, to say the word, think a thought, affirm a belief, which will give it something to become. Do you know how powerful this is and yet we go about our daily lives forgetting that this exists. It is all around us, in every moment. You are accessing it right now as you read or listen to this article.
You know that many things in the world are changing. You can feel the shift; you can sense that there is something different. For one thing, the dark energies are certainly darker and less hidden. And the lighter energies are much lighter. You are noticing the energy gaps, that energetic space between who you are now and have become and the people and situations in your life that you can no longer tolerate or realize that you have nothing in common with them.
For over 22 years, I’ve been tracking the energy field of collective cycles, global movements, and subtle energy pattern shifts – one of my specialties – and I’ve always translated it here so you can navigate the times ahead more consciously.
But this month, everything is elevating. Because everything in the field is speaking clearly:
We are at the Threshold. And the Threshold responds to frequency.
Where you go next — in your business, body, or relationship to time, identity, and power — is entirely dependent on the energetic frequency you are willing to hold and sustain. Getting there is only a small part of the process. We must be able to sustain and expand the frequency.
It has always been that way but there used to be a gray area, a middle zone, a bit of leeway that we often took advantage of to hop back and forth between dimensions and frequencies. That is gone and it is no longer available. So it’s time to choose and decide and to lighten up because the light is where it is all happening even if the density appears to get more attention. That is only happening because what was once concealed and nearly invisible is now highly visible because of the amount of light energy that is available to everyone. Don’t mistake pointing out the density for aligning with and accepting it – that is not happening. We see the density very clearly because of the HUGE energy gaps between density and light now, between 3D and 5D.
And I want to leave you with this final thought – ease and easy are not the same thing. I know we all want a life of ‘grace and ease’ and so many people (not me) sell you the idea that you can just instantly manifest whatever you want, that the Universe ‘has your back’ and somehow things all work out. We have a lot of spiritual charlatans and get rich quick hawkers who have led a lot of people to think that any time you activate your spiritual power your life path goes from hard to easy, from challenging to effortless, and that just is not true.
Stepping onto the spiritual path is not a guarantee of easy or of an easy life at all. In fact, it can often make the journey much more difficult, as you may already know and be very familiar with. If you have been on the spiritual path all your life, or at least since the early 1990s and into the 2000s as I have. A life of ease is not an easy life, meaning you never have any problems and everything is glowing with grace. That just is not true.
What is true is that the spiritual path can unfold with ease when you know how to work with energy, when you understand the priorities and your own energy boundaries, when you learn to embrace the most important factor and the most important lesson we are all here to learn to end our karma cycles so that we can live our 5D ascension path with grace and ease.
I know so many people offer programs, classes, advice, and coaching on their version of the secret to instant manifestation, an ‘easy’ life, unlimited blessings, and effortless flow but these fall into the ‘spiritual charlatans’ group. There is no quick and easy fix to your problems, no ‘easy’ way to escape challenges or to have a happy life.
But there is a way to live in joy, to be empowered, to have the strength and courage to overcome your challenges with less pain and more success.
There is a way to live a fulfilled life, to have a sense of achievement about your victories, and to let go of the failures and things that were a disappointment – it doesn’t happen quickly but it can be yours when you stop looking for the quick fix and start focusing on your own wholeness.
Yes I did not say healing because there is far too much focus on healing and very little on what happens after the healing. In fact, it is our fear of wholeness that creates endless healing cycles and our reliance on the next healing modality that we believe we need to be healed, when in fact, we actually need to face our fear of the consequences of healing and focus on wholeness, joy, peace of mind and heart, and our evolving ascension path.
And July’s energy will assist us with that as we move forward along our personal and collective ascension spiritual and if you think you need some help with your wholeness journey fear not as we have a tough aspect between Chiron and all of the planets in Cancer this month. And don’t forget that Mercury is retrograde from July 18 through August 2, 2025.
