Lena Stevens - New Moon is Sunday, May 17 at 10:13 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). - May 16, 2015

Dear Friends,

This is a deep reset time. You may experience a drop in your energy and feel like hibernating most of the day. This is deep assimilation and should be honored as a still point in your life. Acknowledge the earth and the grounding that Pacha Mama provides. Honor the Sun and its life giving properties.
This is also a good day to revisit your priorities and determine once again what may be out of balance. Make a commitment to rebalance what needs it. If there are still things that need clearing out in order for you to be more balanced, make a plan for that to happen. (our monthly support Mp3 has been very helpful) It is important to be able to stop, rest and come to a still point around this New Moon. It is OK to feel unmotivated. The New Moon is an excellent opportunity to revisit the VOID and to start over.
Blessings,
Lena

Taurus New Moon
Sun and Moon in Taurus ~ 27º
Sunday, May 17, 10:13 PM Mountain Time
(Monday, May 18, 4:13 AM Greenwich Time)
Venus rules when the Sun and Moon are in Taurus in the springtime. How sweet is that? Her message is ‘ground yourself!’ Being present for sensations that come from our connecting portals into our physical bodies does that for us ~ our eyes, ears, taste buds, noses, tactile and motion sensors, nervous systems, our gut reactions, intuition ~ all these senses help anchor us to this physical reality. Taurus is our most grounded, feminine power sign. As a fixed, earth sign Taurus urges us to be present for the gifts of ‘Mother Nature’, to attend to ‘being’ not ‘doing’, and to tap into the resources where true wealth and prosperity lie. Take a moment to send a strong root down into Pachamama/Mother Earth and draw up her feminine power, her fertility, her creativity and love into your heart and infuse your physical bodies with her many nourishing gifts. Take a deep breath, and let out a full-bodied tone from your throat and free your voice and vibrate with the power of your connection to feminine, earth power honoring the Taurean rulership of the throat, voice, and neck.
The chart ruler, Venus in Cancer, is in some challenging relationships in this chart. Venus, Taurus and their rulership of the second house of resources and values draws to the foreground issues of relationships, our wealth and finances, and our self worth. In Cancer our emotional needs get activated. How is she aspected?

~ Venus squares the North and South Nodes~
The Nodes on the Libra/Aries axis highlight our lessons in interdependence vs. independence, our partnering vs. our individuality, how others see us vs. how we see ourselves, going it alone vs. working with others. Venus may create a crisis here that brings out a deeply held issue or a new way of expressing your self and getting your needs met. Meet conflict with patience and kindness; she’s trying to show you something in the reflections mirrored around you.
~ Venus is opposite to Pluto (exact on May 21)~
In the same time frame, powerful Venus begins a week-long dance of triggering the Pluto/Uranus square (Uranus exact on May 25) and bringing that evolutionary energy down to a much more personal level. She faces off with the God of the Underworld and any issues blocking your access to love and self worth may get a voice. Take responsibility for what’s showing up, send healing energy back to your family of origin and ancestors, and see those you might be in conflict with as your tailor made teachers.
This play of the Masculine/Feminine is also mirrored in the conjunction of Jupiter and Juno in Leo archetypes of the King and Queen of Heaven and reflecting issues within our committed relationships that are in need of adjustment to regain balance and integrity. Ego will want the upper hand here, but your heart will tell you the truth if you listen.
~ Venus is trined Neptune (exact May 16 and still active)
Here is the path out of these triggering aspects to Venus, the key to unlock the door where Spirit, always present, stands waiting to be invited in. Neptune is the higher octave/expression of Venus. Compassion or unconditional love is the higher game; beyond ‘I love you’ is ‘I Am You’. We have every opportunity for a higher-centered experience available to us. You’ll know in your body and at every level that you have found that frequency when you feel great ease, contentment and connection. Pure gold. Creativity is at your fingertips.
Enough with Venus!
We must be adaptable; with little or no time for adjustment after New Moon, Mercury in Gemini 13º stations and goes retrograde for the second time this year on May 18, going direct on June 11 4º, and finally regaining its original degree on June 26. Mercury in its own sign, Gemini, can activate communication networks and technologies, our vehicles, transportation, siblings/relatives, learning, teaching, all forms of information, speech, lungs, arms, hands, nerves and much more as messengers for us to reevaluate whatever area of our life/chart that Mercury inhabits and activates. It’s an opportunity to pay more attention and be present to what’s taking place right in front of you.
The retrograde starts with a foundation in stable Taurus, while retrograde Mercury in Gemini will bring in ultra adaptability and flexibility and the ability to see old stubborn situations (that may have been jolted out of the basement by the eclipse cycle in March/April in a whole new light. Forced to go within, our perceptions and ideas of our situation can be reframed, re-examined, under retrograde influence.   We have the opportunity to come out the other side of the retrograde refreshed and mentally aligned to a neutral, positive state. Hopefully we can avoid Gemini’s tendency to get easily scattered, worried or over booked.
We may really feel the ramp up when the Sun changes signs and enters Gemini on Wednesday, May 21 and conjuncts Mercury on May 30. Mars will be close enough to add an afterburner, so give this highly energized mental trio something productive to do so the juice doesn’t run amuck. Argumentativeness and insisting on being ‘right’ are unlikely to get you where you want to go.
It’s notable that there are four quincunx aspects (150º) in this chart and that denotes some stress and the need for adjustment; the two planets involved have nothing in common so it’s a stretch to make them work together, Pluto-Mercury, Neptune-North Node, Jupiter-Pluto, and Pallas Athena-Sun/Moon.
Couple that with an opposition between Mars and Saturn in Gemini-Sagittarius, a kind of brakes working against the gas configuration, and we will most likely see the need to activate diplomacy, patience and avoid digging in our heels. Look to Nature to help you absorb these stresses with her big energy.
The best groove to find here is your place of comfort in your own skin. Taurus’ gift is contentment, gratitude and aligning with nature. What do you want to accomplish in the physical world? Activate Taurus’ determination and persistence to bring it into clear focus. Use toning to align yourself with this most fruitful of springtime energies.

05/18 Mercury retrograde 13º Gemini until June 11
05/21 Sun enters Gemini
06/02 Sagittarius Full Moon 12º 10:20 AM Mountain Time
06/16 Gemini New Moon 25º 8:06 AM Mountain Time
