News from Selacia - March 18, 2020

News from Selacia

Dear friends,

I want you to know that I am here for all of you during this uncertain time. Continue reading below for a time-sensitive update, some tailored offerings, as well as suggestions for what you can do to best navigate the fast-changing crisis with corona virus.

Background

The corona virus and its global impact is something brand new. As mentioned in recent articles, our world is having a wake-up call as citizens, health officials, and leaders respond to a novel situation for which we were unprepared. No need to panic. No need to fear. But do know that this situation impacts all of us, and we must come together in community to support one another.

Group Events

Because of the need to contain the spread of corona virus - public agencies have provided sound guidance that business functions including group events be done remotely. This means that temporarily, global meditations like Equinox on March 21 will be virtual teleclass only, no on-site. Most of you attend this way already, so this change impacts a very small group. Anyone who already registered for on-site can attend the teleclass. All registrants will receive the MP3 recording after meditations. I will keep you informed about when we can resume on-site participation. Note that other courses like the Divine Changemakers "Your Cosmic Self & You", are already virtual and can be taken from any location around the world. Your health and safety are my top concern, and I'm doing my part in assisting the global effort to minimize the spread of the corona virus.

Predictions 2020

Look for my brand-new book Predictions 2020 this week, as soon as tomorrow! I'm thrilled to be able to offer you this guide to our rare year. In it you will find a grounded spiritual perspective of global events and trends, plus simple steps you can take to best navigate the twists-and-turns. As you read, you will understand that what we have unfolding is unprecedented. In the 95-page amazon kindle book, I address key issues along with historical context. I include the corona virus, an issue I added in February, knowing that this would be a pivotal theme. A big thank you to my "early readers" who asked to read it this past week and post comments on the amazon kindle page. Note: if for any reason you purchase the book and post a comment not appearing on the page, let me know so I can help troubleshoot any issues. Also, as a reminder, all you need to read the book is the free kindle app. No kindle device needed.

Healing Support

For any of you personally impacted by corona virus - either directly with your own health or because of loved ones or colleagues impacted - know that I'm experienced as a healer with such things. Currently I have a number of healing clients who asked for sessions after they were with people either exposed to the virus or with people testing positive. In sessions like this, the focus includes boosting the immune system on a DNA level and providing guidance about self-care and how to best respond on both personal and business levels. People also find comfort being able to voice how they feel and receiving spirit's higher view of their situation. To supplement this, know that I have years of DNA healing experience involving pathogens like viruses. We address the condition directly, plus the underlying causes and the emotional-mental distress.

7 Tools to Navigate the Crisis

First. Do your best to stay present and calm. If you begin to get anxious, take a moment to calm down and come into the present. In the present moment, remind yourself that you and loved ones are okay. Remember that what you are experiencing and feeling is temporary. Know that you are part of a global community now impacted.

Second. Follow suggested practices for cleanliness - your body, your home, your office.

Third. If you feel unwell, stay home if you can. If you must go out, it is recommended that you wear a face mask when around others.

Fourth. Since staying home can be isolating and therefore impact your well-being - daily reach out virtually to someone you know. Options include Facetime, Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, text, email, and a number of other platforms. Saying hello to a friend, even briefly, could boost your immune system and your spirits. Also, think about the benefit to your friend!

Fifth. Stay informed of latest public updates and news. However, limit your intake. Your stress and uncertainty levels can skyrocket when you indulge in too many reminders of the crisis we face. Apply common sense.

Sixth. Find something normal to do. Examples:  laundry, cooking, taking a walk. Involving yourself in something routine helps take the edge off your panic. Exercising has another bonus: boosting your endorphins and immune system while giving you energy.

Seventh. Focus on what you CAN do vs what it temporarily off limits. This brings you back to the present and is empowering. I suggest including in what you "can" do: connect with a sense of humor in whatever way you can. This could be watching a comedy, seeing a fun animal antics video on YouTube, or communicating something funny to a friend. Most likely your friend will have his or her own funny story to share, too, so this is a "win" for both of you!

Stay tuned for more updates as situations change. Meanwhile, wishing you good health, happiness, and an ability to thrive.

Love and blessings,
Selacia
