We have had a very eventful month in March and April continues with that activity so there is no rest for us just yet. What the eclipses revealed will be dealt with quickly and decisively now, even if that has not been your style in the past. With Neptune in Aries we are in action mode and with an Alpha Omega portal in action we are in full energy congruence mode too. What that means will be more evident as time goes on but it’s a shifting landscape, so don’t expect to see the end result just yet.This is a time of renewal, resurgence, revival,
and reconsideration – all appropriate since we are still working within
both Venus and Mercury retrograde. If you aren’t happy, fulfilled, and
still living through trauma, wounds, fear, and limitation, it’s time to
make a change. The choice is between a fresh start and staying where you
are. The decision is yours to make.
April is full of opportunity with plenty of action moments but what you do with this energy will decide the results you achieve.
~~~
Don’t get too comfy thinking that March is over and you can relax because April is another action filled month and we also have to deal with the fallout from the March eclipses and energy moves and shifts. We’re still in Aries season so action is the theme even with Mars in Cancer, chugging towards Leo and its upcoming showdown with Pluto (again) which happens in April. And we have a few more action elements in April that come into play so keep your intentions high and your lights bright because this is a stand up, show up, and lights up month.
April is a 4 month in numerology as April is the 4th month and 2025 is a 9 year, 4 + 9 = 13 and 1 + 3 = 4. 4 is the number of stability, completion, and closure. It represents security, knowledge, confidence, and structure. There are 4 cardinal directions – East, West, North, and South, and 4 elements in the earth – Earth, Wind, Air, Fire. Think of 4 legs on a table or a chair, 4 wheels on a car. A square has 4 sides and it can be a box to stand on so we can rise above to the next level or a prison that keeps us penned in. With the 1 and 3 of this month’s 4 vibe, we can take the creative energy of March and take action in a balanced and stable way. No rushing out of the starting gate so typical of Aries, this is considered, measured, purposeful action, aligned with our intention.
The downfall of the 4 is being too rigid and stable, set in their ways, stubborn, and unchangeable. 4 is at its worst when it is trying to be all things to all people, scattering resources, and lacking focus. Those are the elements that can make April a challenging month for some, especially those who get overwhelmed by all of the energy and try to hide out or stay the same because they fear change.
April begins with the energy of March resonating very loudly – the entry of Neptune into Aries and the March 29 eclipse. Those two events have long term effects so just because we are in a new month doesn’t mean they go away. That just creates an energy signature for April. On April 7 Mercury goes direct and on April 12 Venus goes direct. Then the big event of April (one of them anyway) is Mars going into Leo (again) on April 17 and engaging in its ‘power to the people’ moment with Pluto as it did in most of December and January. And that isn’t all because in June Mars will be in Aquarius, meeting up with Pluto again. Then the Mars/Pluto connections will be over for the rest of the year.
Before we continue with the rest of the month’s details I have to share something funny with you. I was thinking about all of the release work and shifting we have had to do as we choose between our ascension path and our karma because they really are not on the same plane. We have to decide where we are going to focus our energy. The problem is that avoiding the karma path means doing so much release work (note that I did not say ‘forgiveness’ work) that it can be exhausting and discouraging.
How can we engage in that level of release work and move forward? Then I thought of goats, that we have to be more like goats. If you know anything about them, goats are remarkable animals.
They are smart, nimble, can jump very high, and scale the highest peaks. Goats are ruminants, like cows, and they have a voracious appetite. Goats will eat anything, and a lot of it.
They will clear out the weeds, brambles, and anything green in a large space in a matter of hours. They have thick skin that even the toughest thorns cannot pierce and one of their favorite foods is poison ivy.
How do goats manage to eat so much? Because they have an extremely fast metabolism and they ‘poop’ as they eat. If you hire a herd of goats to do pasture or field clearing, something that has become very popular in recent years, they will clear out the weeds and any greenery and fertilize the field at the same time. They are the epitome of the saying ‘food goes in one end and out the other’ and it happens quickly with them.
So if we are like goats we assess situations, consider our choices, and make our decisions to release as we move along. We do not need to spend days or weeks considering a move that we know could have happened months or years ago. The behavior we see in people now is probably no different than anything they have done for a very long time. We are seeing it from a different perspective today but they have not changed. Our choice involves whether we want that behavior in our life right now and that answer is usually no.
The energy theme of April is Reconstruction but this is more like the phoenix rising from the ashes than trying to salvage the bricks from your old house to build your new house. If parts of your life have not been totally decimated since January, you may not be paying attention or you have already gone through that process in the past 5 plus years. If they have, count yourself lucky because it’s time to rebuild from a new blueprint.
A focus for April is how we express our energy. There are 6 states of energy – impress, express, repress, suppress, oppress, and depress. We like to make a good ‘impression’, we suppress our energy when we are afraid of conflict or negative reactions, we feel repressed when we can’t do what we want to do, oppressed when someone directly opposes our efforts, or we are afraid they may, and depressed when we are sad for too long. But the most important aspect of these energetic states is how we express our energy – how we put it out into the world.
We can speak, which is a form of expression, but we can also share our gifts, talents, experience, and expertise. We can become the full expression of the energy we know we embody, without fear of judgment or criticism. Who cares if someone judges you? Instead of fearing their judgment, be more critical of their actions. What gives them the right or authority to judge you and what is their agenda? We give far too much of our power away to those who judge us without considering whether we even value their judgment or their opinion.
Let me share something with you that I said over 15 years ago – ‘If someone whose opinion you do not value judges you, is their judgment valuable? The answer is no and you should be more mindful of who you let dim your light and dial down your power because their intentions are not good and their judgments often serve their own agenda of dimming your light because it’s too bright for them. Something to think about in this action packed month.
Most of what we have done in our lives has been handed down to us from our parents and previous generations, it has been inherited, or we did it because we did not know any better. This is part of our energetic legacy and it has not always served our joy but it has helped us to relive our karma paths. Now it’s time for reconstruction but not according to the way we have always done it. We must use a new blueprint and implement new paradigms, with new alignments with our own joy instead of healing others, ourselves, figuring out our trauma and soul wounds, and making our karma path livable or whole.
If you’re wondering why aligned action is our new imperative, blame Neptune, now in Aries, starting a new astrological cycle. Neptune is the modern rule of Pisces, where it has been since April 2011. For 14 years Neptune has been holding that spiritual space for us, waiting for us to get through the first ascension cycles, holding the light for us as we trudged through miles and miles of darkness. And now Neptune is free to start another cycle and it’s ready to take action.
Isn’t this what we have done too, for the past 14 years or since 2003 when this ascension cycle began, or longer? We have been holding the energy for healing, holding the light, being the light worker, while we hoped this would not be yet another lifetime where we brought the light before others were ready to see and acknowledge it. But not now, that journey is over and like Neptune, it is our time to move on.
Neptune in Aries is the ultimate Alpha Omega portal, the 12th house ruler in the first house, and it will be with us for 14 years, so we will have plenty of time to adapt. Neptune in Pisces helped us through the darkest of times. In Aries it brings us to new heights of being and new sources of light. And since Neptune will be occupying the early signs of the zodiac for the next 50 plus years, it will also teach a new generation about spiritual action, energetic integrity and congruence, and the synergy of human and divine.
April 1 is traditionally called April Fool’s day, a day when people play silly pranks and jokes on each other. That may have its origins in 1582, when Pope Gregory changed the calendar to have January 1 be the new year instead of late March. People generally celebrated the new year on April 1 and those who refused to accept the calendar change were called ‘April Fools’. Not an auspicious beginning for such an auspicious month.
But it gets better. In addition to Mercury ending its retrograde on April 7 and Venus on April 12, we have the personal planets, Mercury, Venus, the North Node, and Saturn, all in Pisces, with Mars in Cancer, and the moon and Uranus in Taurus, around the same degrees. This begins April with a clear message – to integrate our spiritual values into our material reality.
What we value becomes valuable to us and for too long we have allowed that to be dictated by others. When we establish our value based on our energetic potential and preferences, we create a paradigm that we can expand into higher frequencies. But when we base our value on what others want us to be for them or what they approve of, we limit our energetic potential to their frequency. Do you see how that works?
So what are we willing to try now because the potential is high and the path has been cleared. All we have to do is set our intention for our highest outcomes and the only blocks or limiters are from our own fears and doubts.
April’s full moon is on the 12th and this one is in Libra, right on Chiron and Eris, so it’s prime time for soul wounds, grief, and old traumas to appear for clearing and release or to relive through our karma pathways.
And the new moon on the 27th is in Taurus and this one impacts all of you born around late 1957 and early 1958 in particular, the Uranus in Leo generation. You are starting a new life phase and you have things to share with the world. You may be thinking of ‘retiring’ but in reality you should be re-vibing, emerging from the ashes of your old path into new potentials. It’s time to get the dreams out of the back closet and start envisioning the life you have not been able to live until now.
If you have been on the ascension path for decades, claim your reward of joy and prosperity. And if you need support get the Golden Light Initiation for 5D support on your path now. You can learn more about it at this link. You will find other Ascension path resources on this page, such as the 5Cs of 5D program and the Ascension Cycle Mastery program.
April is a continuation of March energy with less of an edge. Eclipses are hard driving and demanding, followed by periods of integration and recalibration. I disagree with astrologers who say that eclipses ‘conceal.’ They turn out the distracting light so we have to rely on our inner light for illumination and clarification. Just as you can’t see a lot of stars in the light of day because there is too much light, as soon as the sun goes down you can look up and see a sky full of stars. Just because we cannot see the stars during the day doesn’t mean they are not there. Where did you find the hidden or blocked ’stars’ in your life last month? Are you ready to let them shine brightly now?
With so much spiritual activity it may be tempting to retreat into our inner sanctuary and find peace and solace there. But that is not the thing to do this month. With so much spiritual energy flowing we are invited to become more energetically balanced between spiritual and material, removing the line between spiritual and material and seeing it as a single congruent space.
What if we could stop defining ourselves separately as human and spirit and instead, see ourselves as a single energetic being? What if our human needs were met with spiritual powers? That happens when we create miracles, why can’t it happen for us all of the time? That’s something to consider as we enter a new paradigm of potential and a new reality of the divine human expressing the integrated balance of spiritual and material, living in their heaven on earth.
Have a wonderful month.
