Lena Stevens - Full Moon/Eclipse Update 4-4-15 - Apr 2, 2015

Dear Friends,

The Full Moon and total Lunar Eclipse is Saturday, April 4 at 6:05 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

Those of you in the path of viewing, see it if you can. Honor this event as a marker of huge opportunities for change not only for yourself but also for the planet. This is the second of two eclipses and closes a period of great intensity for most of us and launches us into a new cycle. Regarding the opportunity for change, you do not need to know what is changing. All you need to do is to intend with your heart and your spirit to allow for the most positive change possible and be willing to go through the discomfort of the ups and downs of the unexpected events that may follow.
This is an exciting time and one that opens a great portal to a new experience of living your life at a higher level of abundance and satisfaction. Keep your vibration high, be around friends and community this weekend and celebrate spring and all things new. It would also be useful to do some ceremony, prayer, dreaming, and intentional letting go during this time.
Blessings,
Lena

Libra Lunar Eclipse  Sun in Aries ~ 14 º, Moon in Libra ~ 14º
Saturday, April 4, 6:05 AM Mountain Daylight Time
(12:05 PM Greenwich Mean Time)
Total lunar eclipse visible in Asia, Australia, the Pacific, and North and South America
Libra is here to teach us about balance, and Boy, Howdy! We can sure use the lesson.  We find ourselves in the ‘no man’s land’ between two eclipses, and the energies seem just like the Scales of Libra, one moment tipping down and our relationship rolls into the dirt and the very next moment the perfect opportunity appears out of nowhere making that dream we have held for months suddenly come into clear focus.  Personally, I thought the energies would reset with the New Moon/Solar Eclipse/Equinox event on March 20th, but that has not been my experience.  We need Libra’s balance and finesse and negotiating ability to manage the up and downs, deflated lows and the dynamic highs that we are bouncing between.  Usually this is a good indicator that big shift is afoot, and we certainly are in a window where we just have to ‘trust the process’ as grounding is very shaky now.  Lunar eclipses are powerful Full Moons because of the exact alignment of the Earth, Moon and Sun with the points of the Nodes.  Eclipses have a 19-year cycle and are related to a partner eclipse 19 years previous at the same degree.  This eclipse is related to the April 3rd eclipse of 1996.  Take a moment to think about that time frame in your life.  It’s helpful to know which house the eclipse is activating in your birth chart.  For me, Libra falls in the 4th house ruling home and foundations; I bought my house during the last eclipse cycle, and now I am looking at extensive deck repairs and infusing my home with new life.
Pluto and Uranus are still crazy active; in Aries Uranus (16º) is closely allied with the Sun (14º) and Pluto (15º) is closely squaring the Sun and the Moon.  Tension and unease abide, maybe overtly or maybe under the surface there’s a notable wariness that things don’t seem settled or aligned or very stable.  Of course, that’s good – anything can happen! But our bodies don’t really like that kind of untethered energy.  This eclipse is helping us loosen our attachments to the old stories that hold together our social structures, economies, government practices, and personal beliefs.  Pluto brings up what is stagnant (and that’s outrageously apparent in many sectors now) and calls in transformative forces to start from a whole new premise.  If you look over there, every thing is rotten and crumbling, and if you look over here whole new systems of healing ourselves, connecting with our food systems, developing shared economies, acknowledging that we are all connected and that the material world is part of Spirit too ~ thus honoring the Earth, plants, animals, elements as ourselves.  It’s downright uplifting!
So, welcome to HUGE transition times.  If you feel like you don’t know what you’re doing, what you want to focus on is where you want to end up, the far shore, that place of power, connectedness and creativity that you can taste in your heart and feel in your gut.  Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people all over the world are of like mind.  They know where they are headed; it’s just uncertain how they will get there.  That’s where Spirit comes in and surprises you with ease and grace and more than you imagined possible.
Libra is ruled by Venus, and she bestows on Libra the gifts of grace, elegance and good taste often in the form of a win-win elegant solution to a sticky situation.  Venus is in Taurus making available through our sensual sides some beautifully grounded energy.  Being present in the moment to what is beautiful, delicious, harmonious, fragrant is calming and centering.  Unfortunately, Venus is unaspected in the chart, so she is rendered somewhat uninfluential without a relationship to the other planets.
Mars, who so strongly activated Uranus/Pluto while traveling through Aries in March, now (3/31), has moved on to early Taurus as well.  We can hope for more grounded, common sense responses to what the eclipse has in store for us.   Eclipse windows like we find ourselves in are known for more extreme seismic, volcanic and weather activity on the Earth.
We are getting support from a brief grand trine in fire signs that includes Mercury (Aries), Saturn (Sagittarius) and Juno (Leo).  So there is opportunity for some clear communication progressions within our relationships and commitments releasing hidden blocks where we have been locked in by our fears and burdened by obligation and inadequacies.  Saturn can be an ally in growing beyond our limitations in these areas and learning to speak our truth.
Early in the month just following Full Moon eclipse, watch as the Sun in Aries itself triggers the Uranus/Pluto Square by squaring Pluto on the 5th and aligning with Uranus on the 6th.  Then get ready for some planetary shifting as Jupiter turns direct on April 8, and Pluto does the opposite and turns retrograde on April 17.  Jupiter in Leo has brought us some poignant lessons about self love in the past four months of retrograde.  Now our creativity and expression can take off in a positive direction.  Life may seem to have more meaning and direction as Jupiter starts to slowly move forward and finally regains its original retrograde degree in July.  Pluto, on the other hand, will want to push us to look inside to examine anything that is a barrier or obstacle to our personal power and integrity.
Mercury is visible in the morning sky until April first and then enters the underworld for a few weeks as he transforms into an evening planet.  Use Saturn’s trine to discipline any negative head talk.
Eclipses are powerful portals.  This is the third in a series of four total lunar eclipses in a row ~ the final one being in Aries September 28 on the Harvest Moon.  That should be enough of a nudge in the right direction for any species.  Take this opportunity to get very clear on the shore that you’re navigating towards and where you will eventually land.  Let your heart be your compass.
04/18 Aries New Moon 28º 12:57 PM Mountain Time
05/03 Scorpio Full Moon 13º 9:43 PM Mountain Time
05/17 Taurus New Moon 26º 10:14 PM MT
05/18 Mercury retrograde 13º Gemini until 6/11
