There are always going to be days where you haven’t made monumental achievements, where the day came and went. Understand dear ones, your days don’t have to come and go lacking in purpose or achievement.

Remember each day you wake is a new day filled with endless opportunities to learn, to grow and to become.

As you begin your day dear ones, think of the purpose of your day. Create a small list that outlines what you wish to accomplish this day, no more than three or four items because too much on your list will create stress and the probability that some items on your list will not get done. What are your three most important tasks you want to accomplish and make them different each day.

Greet each day with a routine that is filled with light and positive energy. Add something new or different each day to spice it up. Many times dear ones, your routine becomes redundant, it creates boredom that often leads to the rest of the day feeling like it has come and gone without any liveliness. Create your morning, create fresh ideas even if they are only for a few minutes, try a little exercise, and add something different to your breakfast that is bright in colour and healthy. If you are up early enough take a moment to watch the sun rise and meditate during the waking of a new day. Each day is another day to bring something new to your already established routines. Begin your day as a great day.

Having focus is monumental. In order to achieve any tasks you require focus. Give yourself a goal and focus on completing this goal. Begin your focus as part of your morning routine, by working out action plans, creating ideas that will bring your personal goal into victorious success. Maybe your goal is to meditate longer, or learning how to effectively listen better, or to quit smoking, the ideas are endless on what your personal goal can be, but it is all up to you to make your goal a success. Focus on one goal at a time. It has been witnessed and we are sure you will agree, when you try to focus on too many goals at once you lose your focus and effectiveness because your attention is spread far too thin. Make it a point to focus on your personal goal each day. Do something each day that brings you at least one step closer to completing your goal. Working on your goal each day promotes positive feelings and encourages your day to be great and not one that just creeps in and out.

Many times your day is filled with demands for one thing or another. Schedule some time in for yourself. Having you time is essential and sacred. Having time with yourself is healing and beneficial. Many dear souls find time for themselves that is not focused on their personal goal or the little list of important tasks to do each day in the morning or in the early evening. Finding this time is up to you as long as you do. You deserve to have time all to yourself to simply be. This is a time where you do something for you. It doesn’t need to be elaborate because your heart and soul doesn’t see the setting, your heart and soul feels your peace and contentment.

We know there are many dear souls that understand that the minute they begin doing something important, the phone rings or the computer starts giving alerts for new messages; interruptions pop up. When you are working on your special goal, turn your phone off, close your computer or close the door if you can and allow the momentum of your goal take over and fill you with its energy. This can also be used when you are doing mundane tasks such as cooking or cleaning. You are still required to focus and focus is always done better when there are no interruptions. Allow yourself to feel free doing the tasks that need to be done, feel the energy that is working with you and move with it and before you know it your task or goal is done and what remains is a beautiful contented feeling of joy. That is a great description of a good day.

Everybody has what is called “prime time” or best time where their best work is accomplished. Are you a morning person, afternoon or night person? If your focus is in the morning then begin your personal goals during this time and work bit by bit on completing your goal during this time. Don’t begin your goal or work on it during the time of day where your energy is at its lowest. During the time of day where your energy is low, that is the time to answer your messages and do tasks that are not so important and require little focus. When you discover what your prime time is, make good use of it.

You tend to receive a lot of calls or messages that usually require your attention ask the callers to call you during a certain time of day if possible. Leave your prime time for getting certain tasks and goals started, while you have good focus. If you can schedule the time to receive calls and messages, you will notice you will be able to get more done and this also allows your friends and family to see you really are busy and you have built deeper respect for yourself from and from those that care about you.

Learn to focus on what is important. We know you try to handle every single task that comes your way, and often the outcome is an overwhelming feeling, one that feels as if you are drowning. Many times you set yourself up for failure by accepting and creating too many tasks. It is essential dear ones for your total self to minimize the amount of tasks you will aim to complete each day. You put so much unneeded stress upon your shoulders by adding so much to do when you know deep down it is too much. It is important that you learn how to identify the difference of the important tasks and projects and work on them the most; they require your focus. When you complete the important tasks, then move on to the less important tasks one at a time.

Just as your working hour is approaching its end, complete your day by tiding your work space, including any messages. As you tidy up and prepare to leave you can begin early planning what it is you want to accomplish the next day at work. This gives you something to look forward to and to complete. It also brings a great end to a great day that you helped to create a positive flow of energy.

As your day comes to an end dear ones, look back at all you accomplished in one day. You have done quite a lot. You are able to see what went wrong and you are able to see what went well. During your few moments of reflection every day you are able to see how you can correct areas that didn’t turn out as well as you anticipated. You are now able to begin thinking how to do the same task but with different choices that will produce different and more favourable results. If you are a transit rider, this is a perfect time to reflect on your day or if you are able to walk home is another great time for reflective thinking. You will find the time to look back on your day that is right for you because during this time you will be able to learn so much that will help bring even more improvement and satisfaction the next day. Remember dear ones, not every day is perfect. But each day is filled with something to learn that brings greater knowledge and awareness to your whole self. Capitalize your day, make each day better than the last.

And so it is…
